A firm handshake

I went for another interview with a HR agency which would get me a job. I hope. This time it was different. There was many people waiting to be interviewed. Before long I went to into one of the small meeting room that was named after a precious stone. There, I experienced it.

With a greeting, we started to shift our shoulders with unnoticable reaction. It moved upwards gently while the rest of the arm flowed in the same direction. The forearm made a subtle increase in speed. The palms drew closer to one another. They met. The fingers slotted perfectly into the space between the wrist and the fingers. Following through, the palm and fingers applied strength to their counterparts. While they held the other, the wrist and arm supported and secured them in position.

Builds the confidence in a stranger. Leaves a deep impression. Lay the foundation of trust. A firm handshake.
