There is a difference between piece and gross. Do you know that 1 gross is 144 pieces?
This occurs when you only look at part of the information and not asking for the full picture. Who says that people of the lower management should know less and not given the rights to access various confidential stuff. If you need to know, then you should be given the right to do, dig, research and ask for it. If you need to have it, then push, demand and nag for it. We are intelligent beings capable of working independently provided we are given the knowlegde, right and authority.
