Getting Back On Track!!!

Finally the holidays are here... YEAH!!! Thank God. I have been relaxing so much and watching so much anime that I lost track of time. Now is like the mid of Dec. The holis are coming to an end. Got to come up with some really power new year resolution that can shock the world.

Maybe this will work for the new year "Trying starts with work and ends with Ammf". If you have watched Happy Feet, you would have already been impacted by the heartwarming plot. I guess I was to used to "try my best" and forgot about the most importantant part, the results. Of course, I'm not saying that results is everything, but when we take our time to enjoy the process of trying, lets not forget the reason for this process of "trying". We are going through "trying" for the results.

Since I brought up this movie, I could feel a subtle message of "anti-tradition", where Mambo Happy Feet overwhelmed the traditional nation with a new and radical idea that threw the leaders and elders off their feet. This message gets strong after the conflict where Mambo was commanded to leave. The scene where it shows the nation as one and Mambo leaving emphasizes it. Not forgetting the song of Lamo, "His parents always put him down, down, down..." which is heartwenching, draws us closer to Mambo and pitying him. It gets even stronger when Mambo proved that he was right after a tiresome journey.

Maybe I'm too sensitive but a good director never leaves out details of the message he wants to bring across.
