Of shoe and rat

Was on my way to school for my Quality Assurance paper when I saw this carcass. Thought that it was a cat that was killed and squashed. After taking a second look, it's actually a rat. After being flattened, it became so much bigger. My Toshiba thumb drive looks really small next to it.


The sole of my shoe came off. Almost. Clapping away while I walked around. Used a little tape to stick it in place. It was a lil' too embarrassing to walk around in a crippled and noisy manner.


All things, living or not.
Whether we like or not.
Stumbled upon or chose not.
Death is escape not.

Nought.

I live today not to die tomorrow.
I live today so that I can see tomorrow.
What I'm given today, I'll share.
