A4 Paper
Day in day out, there is nothing.
Coffee, cheap jokes and your desk.
Spending the hour going ka-ching!
Bank account piled with cash.
Rushing in and out, up and down.
Back to office and back home.
Staying in this void town,
Nothing to share and all alone.
One day you look out the window,
Noticing a pretty face in the other.
Both of you seem to be talking.
Now, with more smiles, you are less mellow.
More and more paper exchanged.
You rush with more vigor to work.
I wonder why things have changed,
standing on my rock I wonder.
Something finally changed around here,
Because of a stack of A4 paper.
Crow-crowing I go each day,
Seeing the world through my little black eyes.
