He who serves will receive

“But the rest of the grain offering shall be for Aaron and his sons; it is a most holy part of the LORD's food offerings.” – Lev 2:3

Aaron and his sons were appointed as leaders to serve the Lord. And God commanded that a handful of His grain offering to be burnt for a pleasing aroma. The remaining portion of the grain offering was given to them. This portion they receive is the most holy part of the Lord’s food offering.

In order to receive this holy portion, one needs to be qualified as a priest, hence the holy characteristic of this food offering. However, we can see this instruction as how God honors His servants by providing what they needed. Beyond this, He gave them a holy portion which is separated for Him, blessing them to be partakers of His offering.

God remembers those who serve Him. He honors and provides for them.
