I want my children to believe...

that they are princes and princesses
that fairytale exist and they live it
he will sweep a princess off her feet
she will be swept off by prince charming

though they pace back and forth all through time
in this stairwell they will surely ascend
the dreams they have each night comes true
happy endings and everafters exist

it's never too late to make a turn or take the chance
a white horse is there for him to ride
her white horse's rider will come around
this is not earth but Hollywood

their home is big to hold them in
the world is even bigger for them to roam
they will accomplish much
in wonders: teleportation and time travelling.

Remind me O Lord
When Your children are fifteen
Young and naive
Dreams yet untainted
By harsh realities
That it's my dream
For them to believe

Life is draining
It is straining
Strips ideals and fantasies
Till we come face to face
With the person we want to be
Let me be one who propels
Your children to the stars
Not one who breaks
Instead encourage and make
