Evening sharing and morning reply

The slope, the never changing slope of journey-to-the-heart,
Where growth of green's possible for climate plays well it's part.
It is flourishing and blooming with flora of colors,
Making it a pretty sight worthy of "World's 8th Wonder".
Comes the bitter winter bringing along blistering cold,
Surfacing memories of torturous toiling of the old.
And she, young one, who climbs the slope each and everyday,
In this unfair beating, persists in climbing anyway.
Tending to whatever's remaining of the passed glory,
Braving through circumstance that slope may be restored someday.

Thank you for sharing with me, Sheryl.
