Interviews are face to face talk that evaluate your worth in 30 minutes. If you do not proof your worth in that short time, you will not pass the first interview which filters people who cannot make it. You are facks. You are worth 30 minutes.
The interview I went for lasted less than 20 minutes, maybe 15 minutes. I failed miserably. Anyway that job was not what I was looking for. However, I went with the atitude to learn and see what that place is all about. An eye opener.
Do not underestimate the intrinsic talk with the manager or the staff. From it, they determine your capabilities and abilities.
Prepare and read up. Ask intelligent questions. Reply with vague but convincing answers if you know nuts about what that person is talking about. I call it smoking.
Look smart. Overdress than to go in shorts and slippers. Do not read Dilbert comics while waiting, in case they cannot indentify you as an interviewee.
Pretend to be interested. Although the money maybe what you are more concerned in, you can value add by showing interest or belief in the company's business or services.
You have one shot. Aim well.
