Bugs in the "smelly" beans

I was cutting these beans into halves according to the instructions of mummy dearest. Just in case you are wondering, my family calls it "smelly" beans. It is 'ahem' smelly as it give a strong odour after you eat it. It does not taste bad or stinks. Gives a good chew or crunch actually. Maybe that's why I like it.

The main point is that within the walls of these beans conceal a dark and secret truth. Some of them have their insides eaten by a bug. Yikes! While I split open the beans, the worm wriggles and after investigating it, I have concluded that the worm enters the bean from the tender part of the bean. It enters from the growing sprout. Eats it. Stays in. Slowly burrows a tunnel. Making itself comfortable. It takes away the life of the bean. It takes away the chance it have to grow into a adult. It takes away the hope of survival and continuation.

The pain, the angush, the undesired stays. Remains inside. Attacks the weakest and most crucial principles. Squeeze the life source out from within. Reluctently, the weaken fort collapses.

Desolation follows.
