For Rachel... I love you
Watched The Producer recently and thought that it is a great musical movie except that the corny jokes at the beginning of the show just gets on my nerves.
The blue blanket, easily breaking up accountant was way too dramatic. The crossroad where he rejected the offer of becoming a co-producer of a broadway muiscal reminded me of how I reacted when I was asked to perform during a Mid Autuum celebration when I was in Nee Soon Camp.
Dreamed of performing on stage solo.
Did it.
Shrewed it.
Want it more.
I was in total 'no no I cannot do it' mode when I was asked to sing. When the time came to do it, I practice a few hours and went on. My solo went totally sharp but it was a great night. A dream come true.
Looking back, I want to do it again, not for Super whatever, not for the spotlight but for that excitement and bringing joy to people.
A secret wish is what we have. Hide it no more. Let it shine. Show it.
