National Student Leaders' Consultation was held at SIM, the preferred choice. We are really blessed to have a good location and tasty food was provided. Made new friends thru the short session. Precious, a Nigerian, studying at Informatics told stories of himself and the experience he had in singapore for the past 7 months and also how he admired MM Lee. I was astonished by his admiration for MM Lee and for the moment thought that, " Is he trying too hard to strike a conversation?" But after talking with him more on this, I realised that he was sincere in his statement as he share that he had met locals who were critical and after all that, he still felt that MM Lee is a honorable man. It got me thinking, if I have belittled the accomplishments of the 1st Prime Minister of Singapore.
I was rather glad that the NTU CF leaders made themselves available for this session.
